Hailing from Chicago, now based in Phoenix, Fifi the Countess of Can Can is the creative director of Can Can Parisian. As a former competitive figure skater, she seamlessly transitioned into the world of dance. Her dance education started in college, where she studied modern, ballet, African, and Middle Eastern dance, igniting her passion for artistic expression. She has graced local broadcasts, showcasing her talent and dedication. Her performances include being a featured Can Can dancer at restaurants, resorts, and festivals where her energy and flare has and continues to captivate audiences.
Miaou is a swamp monster from south Louisiana but has been living in the Sonoran desert for the last 6 years. She loves learning and performing many styles of dance. She originally learned and danced Cajun folk dance. She has dance, taught, and performed belly dance for over 20 years. Her love of cancan started with the animated movie Anastasia and the 2001 Moulin Rouge! movie. Her love was cemented when she lived in Paris and got to see a live performance at the Moulin Rouge. She is so excited to share that love with Arizona! Je t’aime!
A life-long dancer, Lucille Jolie studied dance as a minor to her studies in college. Since 2013 she has been teaching and performing belly dance across Arizona and has had the honor of performing with and learning from many belly dance greats. She took up can can as a new dance form in 2024. Lucille also specializes in costuming for both belly dance and can can and some of her creations can be seen in the groups performances.
